Obama will win the election, but if people new the truth he wouldn’t

Barack Obama

John McCain
Let me start by saying that I am a registered Independent that tends to vote toward the Republic ideals a little more than the Democratic ones. I voted for H Ross Perot in 2004. I watch all the debates, read all the news stories and try and decide on the best choice, no matter which party someone is from. My basic belief is that the President should be someone who has succeeded in business. The U.S is basicly the largest business in the world. I’d prefer someone who’s succeeded in business over a long haul to be President than some lifetime politician or silver spooned newcomer.
If Bill Gates or Warren Buffet were running, I’d probably vote for them in a second.

Bill Gates

Warren Buffet
Obviously, there are only two real choices to vote for tomorrow. Sure, I could vote for someone who has no chance at all or write in my own candidate as a protest, but in reality, there are only two choices. So, after all of these months and months of political ads, debates, interviews and all the other good stuff, what have I learned? It seems to me that what we really don’t know about Barack Obama could end up hurting us. John McCain is pretty straight forward. You know what your going to get. He’s been in the public eye forever and there’s not much all that bad about him. Sure, some of his opinions are different than mine, but all in all, he’s a decent guy, who has served his Country and give more than most.
Barack Obama on the other hand seems to have stuff in hist past that just keeps coming up. It’s not just one little thing… it’s a bunch of little things. I’m afraid what’s going to be next. How much do we REALLY know about him, his past and his plans?
What is the relationship between Barack Obama and Bill Ayers? Do we know FOR SURE?
How and why is Obama’s Aunt living in this Country illegally? And in poverty to boot? What does this say about Obama’s character?
The Obama’s want to paint a picture that they are “one of us”. Are they? Michelle Obama makes over $350,000 per year at her cushy diversity coordinator job. They haven’t had to worry about paying a bill on a long time, if ever. When Obama says “we” need to do things like save more, cut back on certain things and buckle down during these tough times., he’s not really talking about “we”… he’s talking about “you”. He’s a Harvard graduate, “we” doesn’t really apply to him.
Obama and his staff can’t figure out who they are going to tax and how much. There’s no doubt he’ll be raising taxes, it’s just he really hasn’t told the truth yet about who’s going to feel it most. He says 95 percent of American will get a tax cut. That’s just a flat out lie. In debates, he said anyone under $250,000 income will see no increases in taxes. But in his commercials, the number is $200,000. And the other day, one of his Staff said it’s $120,000! So which is it? I think we’re all going to get nailed and there’s nothing we will be able to do about it.
So to me, it just isn’t worth the gamble. Obama has not been in the public eye long enough for all his skeletons to come out of the closet. He isn’t one of “us”, even though he tries to play it on tv. And, I just don’t trust what he says is what he will do. To me he’s saying what we want to hear. That’s not the way I want it. I want the to hear the truth and I’ll deal with what happens after that. The truth is always the best choice. I have to go with McCain this time. In 4 years, maybe there will be a better choice. But for now, I’ll take the devil I know, over the devil I don’t any day.
